What if CEO’s

—were elected

—had to take 30 days out of the year to work in or with each function/role in the company

—had a Board that only got paid if results were good

—had to ask for imput about her impact from five people every month from different levels of the company

—were more aware of the halo of power that they carry

—knew how to make collaboration into a competitive force

—knew the degree that people flatter him or her

—knew when they were burned out

—were more inspirational and aspirational

—were more appreciated than pampered

—didn’t swagger but did stride

—filled the air with positive energy

—knew that growth is not the only strategy

—were thanked more often
